The R12 Story

It all started with a pastor and a young man with a call to lead.

Pastor Josh Komis had planted a church in Sarasota, Florida, called Living Hope Church. He was praying for a young leader to pour into and raise into leadership. Then came Aidan Gross.

Pastor Josh had known Aidan and his family for years, but now Aidan had a calling from God to rise and start leading a bible study. That’s when God began to work. Pastor Josh and Aidan connected. Visions were shared, a gospel partnership was formed, and the rest is history.

Pastor Josh empowered and equipped Aidan to start and lead the R12 Young Adults—the official young adult ministry of Living Hope Church. What started as 7 people in a living room in August 2024 quickly grew into 14, 21, 30, 40, and even 50. Within months, the group had exploded: not through social media campaigns, food, and gifts, but through the power of the Word, a move of the Spirit, and a passion in this next generation to know the Truth and be set free.

Now, Aidan wants to take the message God has laid on his heart and share it with every single young adult out there.
